Adult Literacy Courses Provide Keys To Growth

Do you need help with reading, writing, or math? Do you know someone over the age of 16 who does? Literacy is a very important tool for success in our society. That is why the YMCA of Greater Toronto is committed to helping our adult members improve their literacy.

The YMCA Literacy Services – Learning Opportunities Program provides many services:
  • Literacy and basic skills education
  • Training in reading, writing, and math
  • Computer and life skills instruction
Because everyone has different learning needs, you can choose to learn through private tutoring, as part of a small group, or on your own using the computer. We also offer volunteer opportunities. If you want to become a tutor, provide support for our computer learning programs, or help with our financial development programs, we'd love to hear from you.
