How do I register for summer camp?

What will I learn at YMCA Camp Cedar Glen?
When you come to YMCA Camp Cedar Glen, you get to participate in a tent camping experience where you cook your own meals and learn outdoor living skills.
If you’re between 14 and 16, you can join our Future Leaders of YMCA (F.L.Y) program, where you’ll have the chance to build your leadership skills and gain important experience that can help you at camp, at school, and in life.

What type of food do you serve?
All of the meals at YMCA Camp Cedar Glen follow Canada’s Food Guide. We offer three full meals a day, plus an evening snack. You can also look forward to our cookouts!4.
Where will I sleep when I’m at camp?
We are excited to have traditional rustic cabins this summer. Each cabin will have four bunk beds for 7 campers and one counselor.5.
What should I bring with me?
You should bring a sleeping bag, a pillow, six t-shirts, two sweaters, two long-sleeve shirts, four pairs of shorts, two pairs of long pants, one pair of running shoes, a bathing suit and towel, your toiletries, a jacket and rain gear, sun screen, a hat, a water bottle, and bug spray. Please do not bring any electronics or valuables.6.
What if I can’t afford the camp fees?
As a charity that serves all segments of our community, the YMCA of Greater Toronto provides financial assistance for all of our programs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, members, community partners, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, no one is denied access to a YMCA program simply because they cannot pay the full fee. If you would like to apply for financial assistance, please complete a Financial Assistance Application Form.7.
Do you accept campers with special needs?
In partnership with Reach for the Rainbow, YMCA Camp Cedar Glen can accommodate a variety of special needs campers. Campers can apply through Reach for the Rainbow and will be placed in the camp setting that best supports their needs.8.
