The Counsellor-in-Training (CIT) program is designed for our most mature campers with the aim of preparing them to be dynamic staff.

Guided by their CIT Trainers, participants develop skills through a series of workshops geared to teach the art of counselling, skill instruction, program planning and delivery and trip leadership.

CITs will complete a 5 day canoe trip to practice their trip leadership skills. Cabin placements throughout the session provide opportunity for practical learning with regular feedback from our counselling team.

Entrance into the CIT program is by application at Pine Crest.  Please submit registrations by mail or fax to the camp by January 1, 2008.  Registration spots will be held until interviews are complete and approved by the Director.  All CIT interviews will be conducted throughout January and acceptance letters will go out in February.
