This highly specialized program offers the same core leadership modules as our Counsellor-in-Training and Leaders-in-Training programs with an added bit of excitement.

During the 7 week program, participants will enjoy whitewater paddling on the Dumoine River for 14 days, get practical counseling experience in cabin placements and program delivery, and spend time visiting another YMCA camp in Canada.

In 2007 we traveled to British Columbia to visit Camp Elphinstone, Camp Howdy and participated in local BC activities and tourism. While on exchange, the participants explored the host site, contributed to the overall camp program and actes as stewards for the YMCA of Greater Toronto.

All participants will require photo identification for domestic flights.

All leadership participants will be required to join us for our Leadership Information Nights to learn more about the specific program expectations, skill development areas, trip routes and instructor qualifications. Please check back in December 2007 for further details.
