Each session we have a few days dedicated to bringing the camp together for special programs and events. These days are run by our program staff and are often theme days created just to have fun. The following is an outline of what to expect outside of our usual “typical day”.

Sunday - arrival day is always also our Family Day and open house. Between 11 and 2 p.m. families are encouraged to come to camp and help your child settle in to their new space. You can enjoy a large buffet lunch, meet the staff and go swimming, boating and tour the camp. Sunday night is Opening Campfire to welcome everyone to a new session! |

Monday - the first Monday is dedicated to program and site orientation to ensure all campers feel comfortable and know what the options are for the session. On this day they also visit the Wellness Centre, complete their swim and boating tests and get to know their cabin mates. Monday night is Section Time where campers learn the section songs, get to know the other cabin groups and enjoy a fun program together. |

Thursday Banquet! The final dinner at PineCrest is a theme dinner where the whole camp dresses up and campers are treated like royalty! The staff serve the campers their meal as a special thank you for the session. We also do a candle lighting ceremony where campers come up on stage and tell the camp about their favourite PineCrest memory that session. Thursday night- Closing Campfire is a major event at PineCrest where cabins are invited to lead songs, do skits and tell stories about their experience that session. The music and drama groups also do their closing performance at campfire. |
