Opening Circle in the Sun
Activities will include both large-group circle games (Octopus), and songs (A Long Time Ago, Down by the bay)!

• Spider Web - Use the yarn to get to know your fellow campers and created a web of experiences!
• Over the Bridge - Get your entire group over the bridge, without touching the rope

Swimming Lessons
Depending on your level, you will earn your next swimming badge while at camp!  If you do not know your current level, you will be tested on the first day.

• Paper Mache Face Masks - Create a mold of your own face!
• Paper Mache Volcanoes - Make volcanoes and we’ll paint them and have them "explode"!

Lunch in the Sun
It’s Hobart challenge time!  How many unsafe pool practices you can you name in thirty minutes? Work as team and impress the lifeguards during fun swim later!

• "Props" - When instructed, two people will begin acting out a scene and when we yell "freeze", a prop will be inserted in the scene! Can you change the scene on a fly?
• Tabloid Scenes - Using the activity cards provided, each team will construct a short playing entirely in tabloid. Not sure what tabloid is, you’ll have to play to find out!
• Pictionary without pencils! - It’s time to act! You will be divided into two teams, and be given 30 seconds to act out an activity that your team must guess!

• Super Heroes and Villains - Villains better make sure they have a good hiding spot so the Super Hero don’t find you!
• Nature Hunt - Find as many tree branch twigs as you can. They will make for a super cool craft later today

Free Swim
Cool off in the pool and play stop lights, submarine, water polo and gang-goo! Or stay on dry land and with puzzles, board games and crafts.

• Tree Branch Picture Frames - Create a picture frame using the branches to bring home and fill with your favourite picture
• Hoop Practice - Fine tune your shooting skills and various techniques taught by your counselor!
• Floor Hockey - Join in on floor hockey then!

Snack, Busing, Journals and Departure
What was your favourite activity today … swimming, sand art, or animal survival? Write/or draw in your journals so you can take it home and share it with your family! Remember to bring your journal back tomorrow!
