1. Will I meet other families in the same situation I am in?
Absolutely. When you come to the YMCA Family Development Centre, you'll get the chance to connect with and meet other families throughout the community. Join us for coffee chats, family sharing, and a great bite to eat every Friday. You can also meet other families as you watch your children playing together in the playroom or by simply participating in our daily programs.
2. Do both fathers and mothers attend YMCA Family Development Centre programs?
Of course. Both moms and dads participate in our programs, depending on their family's schedule.
3. How old must my child be to participate?
We offer programs and activities for all children from birth through age six. Because learning through play begins at birth and continues through the ages, your child is never too young to benefit from our programs.
4. Do you offer any music classes?
Yes, we have a music session every day. We also have music specialists visit our program three times each week. Join us and let your children experience the beauty of singing and musical instruments.

5. How much does it cost?
Fees are $150 per year or $90 for six months. As a charity that serves all segments of our community, the YMCA of Greater Toronto also provides financial assistance for all of our programs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, members, community partners, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, no one is denied access to a YMCA program simply because they cannot pay the full fee.
