Starting Point (formerly Finish Line)

Eligibility: Currently on Employment Insurance (EI) or Employment Insurance (EI) Reachback; Visible Minority or Single Head of the Household or Disabled; referred by Toronto Social Services or an Assessment Centre

Program Description: The program aims to get started in reaching your career goal, discover more about options for your future and connect with the training you need to reach your employment goal.

We offer:

Labour market information
Access to training
Language and literacy assessment
Credential assessment
Assistance in completing training applications
Interest, skill and ability assessment
Ongoing support and coaching

Location: North York YMCA Employment Centre
