Do you have dreams of running your own business but aren’t sure where to start?  Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program and Youth Entrepreneurship Program are design to give you the knowledge and skills you need to start your own business. 

We have now partnered with the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), a national charity that provides youth with pre-launch coaching, business resources, start-up financing and mentoring, to help them launch and sustain a successful entrepreneurial business.

The YMCA Markham Business Centre holds a monthly Loan Review Committee (LRC), which is made up local business owners and professionals, and is required to review business plans of young entrepreneurs.  Qualified candidates between the ages of 18 and 34 may be eligible for business loans of up to $15,000 from CYBF.

We also offer free business workshops and seminars to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and information they need to succeed.
