Here are the things we know we must do:
- We are required to upgrade some of our hallways, stairways and doorways to comply with changes to the Building Code made since our 1984 renovation
- To keep up with the increased demands made on the building’s systems, we will upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC); fire and security alarms; and plumbing
- We are committed to expanding our youth and children’s program space, as part of an Association-wide strategic plan to invest in the development of healthy children, youth, and families

Phase 1: February 2007 – October 2007
- New fourth floor conditioning and free weight area above gym
- Combining two existing stairwells into one Northeast stairwell
- Construction of new Child and Family Play area
- New family locker room
- Upgrade Child Care and construct new toddler room and food preparation area
- Upgrade Multi-Use area
- Gymnasium maintenance and construction of new gym storage area
- Construction of new staff offices
- Re-grouting and updating emergency systems in pool
Phase 2: November 2007 – January 2008
- Maintenance on existing Upper Conditioning area
- Upgrade of Men’s change room
Phase 3: January 2008 – April 2008
- Expand and rearrange the Front Entrance and Lobby area
- Café and seating area restructuring
- Upgrade women’s change room
- Construction of new Cyclefit studio on second floor west
