Newcomers play an important role in shaping Canada’s future. That’s why CIBC and the YMCA are proud to work together to help you realize your full potential. If you’ve recently immigrated to Canada, CIBC YMCA Access to Opportunity™ can get you off to a great start.
Components of the program include:
Facts & Finance™ a series of seminars designed to provide the advice and information you need about financial services in Canada, to help you make informed decisions for you and your family. Seminars are available at various YMCA locations in Toronto.

CIBC Connection to Employment™ is a free five-week job skills development program designed to prepare newcomers to Canada for employment in the financial services sector. This program will be offered in Vancouver only and is available to applicants with qualifying experience and criteria.
The application period for the 2009 five-week training program has closed. Please visit this site again for information on upcoming sessions. You may also visit the YMCA of Greater Vancouver website.
