“Because we cover such a wide geographical area,” says Tammy Walker of YMCA Human Resources, “we need an opportunity to connect with each other on a regular basis. YMCA Camp Cedar Glen is the ideal location for the event.”
This session focused on charitable work, member involvement and storytelling. Scott Haldane, President and CEO and Sandy McIntyre, Board Chair kicked off the event with energizing speeches before YMCA staff engaged in fun team-building activities, thought-provoking information sessions and wonderful food.
“Staff usually want to stay longer,” Tammy Walker says. “They tell us in their comments that it’s a great way to meet people and a very positive experience.”After coming together from every corner of our Association, staff members are even more hooked on working together to make the YMCA the best it can be!
