The YMCA of Greater Toronto has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top 75 Employers.
Selected by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the Greater Toronto’s Top 75 Employers competition recognizes employers who lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces. Employers are evaluated on eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
“I consistently hear from employees that the YMCA isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life,” says President & CEO, Scott Haldane. “I couldn’t agree more and it’s a testament to the dedication and commitment of our entire staff team that we are being recognized with this distinction.”
