Young women are trained as peer sexual health educators through workshops on HIV/AIDS, sexual health, gender issues, interpersonal communication and leadership skills. They are empowered to make healthy choices and inform other youth on issues related to STDs and reproductive health, with demonstrated improvement in risk factors such as age at first sexual encounter, number of sexual partners and condom use.
Youth participate in reproductive health training to increase knowledge on HIV/AIDS, sexual health, gender issues, interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
