At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, we believe our charitable mission extends far beyond our borders. That is why we are part of an international community of YMCAs around the world. Together, YMCAs work to create social justice for all people, irrespective of religion, race, gender, or cultural background.
As part of this international movement, the YMCA of Greater Toronto is committed to:
• Maintain an outlook consistent with our role as global citizens
• Connect with YMCAs around the world
• Address issues of peace, poverty, and underdevelopment
• Build partnerships with members of the global community
• Remain an active member of Peace Week and other global integration activities
• Help our members learn more about our international focus through the World Matters Newsletter
• Participate in a range of international programs

The YMCA of Greater Toronto participates in a range of international programs that are supported by the government of Canada through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
