5 . What type of food do you serve?
All of our meals are pre-approved by a nutritionist, ensuring they are both healthy and delicious. In addition to following Canada’s Food Guide, we can accommodate participants with special diets (including those with allergies). We even have vegan meals available upon request. Because of allergies, we do not serve any nuts in any of our meals.
6 . For how many hours do the programs run each day?
Programs start at 7:00 a.m. and can sometimes go until 10:30 p.m., with one hour for lunch and one hour for dinner. We can also schedule time for rest and relaxation, as required.
7 . Are there activities we can pursue during free time?
Free time is supervised by teachers or supervisors. We can provide games or equipment for that time and can show you where to go for a great hike, a game of soccer or just to sit and read a book.
8 . Do you have telephones available?
Yes. We have one pay phone located in the Dining Hall that can be used at night or when participants are not in program.

9 . What if we can’t afford the program fees?
You can apply for financial assistance, please let us know when you call to ask about our programs or at the time of registration.

Financial assistance allocation must be completed one month prior to your program participation. Together, we can provide all our members with opportunities for personal growth, community involvement, and leadership.

10 . How do I stay connected?
You can join or update your contact information on our Outdoor Centre Database by contacting our office. This will enable us to send you our latest Outdoor Centre brochure each year.  You can also download our latest brochure today. If you prefer to receive a brochure in the mail, contact us at (905) 859-9622.

You can also check out the New & Exciting News happening within the YMCA of Greater Toronto.

11 . Do you have a staff area or meeting place?
Yes we do. We have a lounge for teachers/staff located in our wellness area of our dining hall. We can also make other space available in our resource building if your group requires additional space.
