Get Help With Your Reading, Writing, & Math

YMCA TrainingDo you need help with your reading, writing, or math? Do you know someone over the age of 16 who does? It can be very difficult to keep up in school or find a job if you are having problems with your language skills. The good news is that the YMCA of Greater Toronto can help you get better at reading, writing, and math.

The YMCA Literacy Services – Learning Opportunities Program provides many services:
  • Literacy and basic skills education
  • Training in reading, writing, and math
  • Computer and life skills instruction

Because everyone has different learning needs, you can choose to learn through private tutoring, as part of a small group, or on your own using the computer. We also offer volunteer opportunities. If you want to become a tutor, provide support for our computer learning programs, or help with our financial development programs, we'd love to hear from you.
