Making the move from camper to counsellor is one of the most fun and rewarding experiences imaginable. At YMCA Camps, we help you learn to lead with a wide range of leadership training programs.

Our Leaders-in-Training program is for 15 year-olds who want to reach their highest potential. Held at YMCA Camp Pine Crest, this program features a 4 day hike and 10 day canoe trip, helping you develop leadership, camping, and outtripping skills to grow – in camp and in life.

Our Counsellor-in-Training program is for 16 year-olds ready to develop the skills to become camp counsellors. Through workshops, a five-day canoe trip, and cabin placements, you learn how to instruct campers, plan programs, and put your skills into action.
