 The YMCA of Greater Toronto connects with thousands of Toronto’s newcomers through our brochure included in the Welcome to Canada package handed out to newcomers at Pearson International Airport. We provide programs and services to help you settle into your new life in Canada. Visit a YMCA Employment Centre and a YMCA Newcomer Information Centre to get the information you need on housing, social services, learning English, arranging child care and more. The YMCA has many employment options to help you find a job in Greater Toronto. We also have information sessions for newcomers in our community. |
New YMCA Newcomer Information Centres | |
  Two brand new Newcomer Information Centres are saying “welcome home!” to Toronto residents who have recently arrived in Canada.
The new North York YMCA Newcomer Information Centre opened on Tuesday, October 30th. Then on Thursday, November 1st, the Scarborough YMCA Newcomer Information Centre opened its doors. Both new centres celebrated their new beginnings with launch parties featuring multicultural food and entertainment presented by local children, youth and adults. > read more | |
